What does this tool do?
Removes AI Content Credentials
AI image generators (OpenAI, Adobe Firefly, Google, and others) embed C2PA / Content Credentials — a signed manifest identifying the model and sometimes the prompt. This tool removes that manifest from the file.
Strips EXIF & XMP
Camera, editing-software, and generator metadata stored as EXIF, XMP, and IPTC is discarded, including any embedded prompt, seed, or sampler settings.
Server-side & secure
Your image is processed on the server and never stored or logged. The cleaned file is returned directly to you and deleted immediately.
Preserves image quality
Choose the same format as your original and the image is re-encoded cleanly with no size or dimension changes. Optional lossless PNG export.
How it works
When you upload an image, your browser reads the raw bytes and scans for common metadata signatures and AI generator markers so you can see what's embedded. When you click Clean & Download, the server decodes the image to raw pixels and re-encodes it — a process that physically discards every metadata segment. The result is a clean image with no identifying metadata.
